Ian McKellen’s Use for the Bible – Toilet Paper

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 by Dan Miller 3 Comments

Denny Burk offers an interview and commentary with the outspoken actor and self-proclaimed homosexual Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, The Golden Compass, The Di Vinci Code, X-men, etc.) regarding the rumor that he actually tears pages out of Bibles that he finds in hotel rooms in order to hang them in his bathroom as toilet paper.

How tragic that a person so gifted by God with talent would reject God as his Savior. I find it amazing that God would grant Ian (as he did for me) time to repent and trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. Pray for Ian to this end.

The king burned Jeremiah’s book as if that would stop God’s judgement. Sorry Ian, I don’t think destroying the bible makes the behavior less damaging or the rebellion more real. Thank you God for being merciful to me a sinner; the Babylonians are coming.

Ian KcKellen is a thespian, so it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that he is a drama queen.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Dan Miller is ‘virtue signalling’ to the believers that look at this website either.

Believers are stupid. They’ll believe anything a priest, pastor or other religious leader tells them, UNLESS it conflits with their own ideas about what it right and wrong. It’s not difficult to change churches.

Robin, do you really believe all Christians are stupid? That seems like a vast judgement to make. Would you care to amend?
