Have you ever prayed that God would forgive you after you became a Christian? Didn’t Jesus take-on and didn’t God forgive all of your sins on the basis of the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus? But does being forgiven mean that a Christian can live anyway he or she wants? After all, you have been forgiven… right? But, don’t you, as a Christian, still have to keep tabs on your sinful choices in order to get forgiven? What if you don’t remember a sinful act or thought or don’t ask in a right way? What happens then? This Sunday we will start a two week series called: “Forgiveness… for the Christian?” that will help your process a subject that has so many followers of Jesus confused. This morning’s teaching focuses on 1 John 1:4 – 2:2. MP3 download.
