Tuesday was the 250th anniversary of the birth of William Wilberforce. William was the leading figure who took the emancipation act to the British Parliament and changed the Empire forever. Watching the 10 minute video of this man sets before us a fantastic example of conviction, fortitude, endurance, and passion to do what is right regardless the cost. We can learn much from the example of William Wilberforce. This is also a great resource for parents to use in teaching their children to learn from the past in order to gain strength for the future.
