Last week we began a study on James 3 and his warnings to us about the tongue: “the tongue is a fire, staining the whole body and setting the whole course of one’s life on fire.” James warned of the awsome responsibility it is to be a teacher (that your words could lead people astray). He also points out how powerful the tongue is (comparing it to a bit and a rudder). Finally James warns about how destructive the tongue can be comparing it to a camp fire that burns out of control and destroys an entire forest. This week we move into James 3:9-12. MP3 download.
