Prayer Answer-er

Tuesday, April 8, 2008 by Donna Farr 2 Comments

Lately, I’ve had some prayers that I’d really like some quick answers to. Thanks to my friend Dawn who sent me this helpful clip, I may be on my way to a faster and easier prayer life. Check this out!

Unfortunately, Ebay is currently out of these. Oh well, for now I guess I’ll have to stick to the old-fashioned ways of trusting God for answers. 😉

About Donna Farr

Donna is the Women’s Ministry Director at Grace Fellowship. She’s madly in love with her hubby Eric and has been blessed with two precious children (named Savannah and Austin) that she likes to refer to as being “just like real people, only smaller.” In her spare time, Donna likes to overanalyze everything, imagine she’s organized, and pretend she’s accomplishing something by moving her mail piles from the kitchen to her office and back.

On one level this was truly funny, it made me laugh. However, I realized that the reason it is so funny is that it rings so true, which also makes it kind of sad. A lot of people think their interactions with God should be just like this.

I recently read a review on Tim Challies’ blog of John Eldrege’s book Walking With God and Eldredge is truly not that far from this video in his approach to making decisions and finding the will of God.

LOL. I want to use this as a teaching prop in the future! What a great visual for how people often consider prayer to be! We are such Americans!
