In America there are false teachers and preachers who say if you become a Christian all of your life issues will be solved. I became a Christian when I was 19, that’s 20 years ago. I still have big issues! I have issues of insincerity. I have issues like wanting to be entertained more than wanting to make the most of my time. I have issues about disciplining myself to do the right things when I don’t feel like it. I have issues about loving my wife in the way Christ loved the Church. I have issues…
But false teachers don’t want you to think of your need to be holy or recieve grace and help from Christ. False teachers just want you to need them and, in turn, for you to support them with money. Now these false teachers and heretics can be beamed into the villages of the desperately poor or, better yet, hold a “revival” in their country. May this video open your eyes to wicked men and women who prey on the poor and the helpless. May you pray that God would use you to be a voice against those who look to line their pockets with the pennies of the poor. Let’s speak out against those who would play marbles with the diamonds!
And, may this video recall you to be satisfied in Jesus for who He is and not just for what he gives. May you seek His face and not His hand. If you and me fix our eyes on Jesus we will find all of our truest needs met in and through Him.
Tracy says
Wow. Just, wow. May God forgive my selfishness and desire to put anything above Him-my husband, my kids, my lifestyle, even my health. These are all good things, but idols when elevated above our glorious, worthy God.
Thanks, Dan.
