You know how one day you can be oblivious to something, then it comes up for some reason, and the next thing you know it’s everywhere you look?

The Valley of Vision had been collecting dust on my bookshelf for about the last four years. Then one morning it came up in discussion at the Men’s Bible Study. Now it seems to be everywhere. It’s been the subject of conversations, it’s appeared on blogs that I follow, and now it is appearing in musical form.

Sovereign Grace Ministries is preparing to release the Valley of Vision CD, a collection of songs based on the prayers in the book. They are currently offering a free download of one of the songs (The Precious Blood) and samples of the others. I combines the sound of the modern worship album with the lyrics of a modern day hymns (using the term hymn loosely in the style of How Deep the Father’s Love and In Christ Alone).
