I’ve got another resource reference inspired by Ken’s current study on the doctrine of the Word of God. This one has to do with the transmission of the New Testament text through the centuries. In Is the New Testament Text Reliable?, Greg Koukl shows that God’s Word did not come to us through successive retelling and re-translation as in the children’s game of telephone. Greg uses an easy to grasp (and easy to pass on) illustration of Aunt Sally’s lost recipe to show how (at a high level) the process really works.
