John Piper had prostate cancer surgery yesterday. It appears to have been very successful and we thank the Lord for that.
On the eve of his surgery he wrote a letter entitiled “Don’t Waste Your Cancer.” In this letter, he points out that since our God is in control of all things, then cancer is another opportunity for God to receive glory. The address of the letter is attached above.
It is a beautiful testimony of the wonder and and joy that comes from a proper understanding of Who God is and what He has done.
May God heal John Piper if He will, but more than that may He use this cancer and all things for His glory.
