Well, I fell off the blogging wagon over a month ago, and this is really just a commercial before we return to the regularly scheduled pontificating.
For those of you who don’t know, Grace Fellowship signed up for Amazon.com’s Associates program last year. We placed an Amazon search box on the Resources page. If you begin you Amazon shopping with that search box, Grace will automatically get a kick-back. The rate is variable, depending on the volume over the year, but it starts at 5% for most items, and 4% for electronics. It doesn’t affect the price you pay at all, and those commissions can add up.
In addition, Amazon offers their own branded Visa card. When you apply, you get a $30 certificate. Then for every $2500 you spend, they send you a $25 Amazon certificate. When you use the card for Amazon purchases, you get triple credit. So, if you make a purchase through the Grace site and pay for it with your Amazon Visa, the church gets a 5% cut, and you get a 3% rebate, not to mention free shipping and no sales tax.

Hey Eric! Great to see/read you on here again. Needless to say you have missed some lively discussions! I will remember the Amazon.com link as it sounds like a really good idea. Thanks for setting that up!
So can I buy a bunch of books and CDs in lieu of my tithe this week? ;^
And when is GF able to have more links to get kickbacks for various Ronco products and whenever Carlton Sheets sells a house he bought with zero down?
Let the intense sarcasm begin…..I am sure Ken will come up with some good ones!

Another tip: if you link to anything available on Amazon, find it using that box. Then, when people click on your link, their purchase will credit Grace also.
