With many of our attentions turning to the upcoming ’05/’06 school year, I would like to mention a resource that was discussed on the July 10 STR radio program. University of Destruction, by David Wheaton is a practical guide to avoiding the pitfalls that many Christian students fall into when going off to college. I haven’t read the book, but the hour-long interview will give you a very good feel for what it has to offer.

On the same subject, there is the excellent How to Stay Christian in College by J. Budziszewski. This book is a great reference for anyone living in a world where their worldview is under attack on a daily basis–which is just about all of us.
