Philly Day Two

Wednesday, July 13, 2005 by Kevin Schultz 1 Comment

Tomorrow is the big day when we start the conversion pilot. For some back drop see yesterday’s blog The laptops due to arrive today at the depot won’t arrive until tomorrow morning. That was a little frustrating when I learned that today, but is wasn’t the end of the world since we still have time. A good number of small details came together today on the project so things are still looking up.

I drew comfort from my reading this morning. Psalm 108 is a song of praise to God glorifying Him for His strength. I thank Him for His strength. Travel can be very hard. It’s almost like an alternative universe. Temptation presents itself in new ways. But God is still there.

I can definitely relate to everything you wrote, including the travel and temptations with being away from home. Hey, nobody will ever know right? WRONG!

Along those lines, please see my recent ramblings and from others on Ken’s blog as we were discussing living under grace and the freedom and comfort we have in that truth.

So you are installing IBM “Stinkpads” eh? πŸ™‚ They used to be the greatest laptops in the mid 90s along with Toshiba. I still prefer the “nub” laptop mouse over the touch pad.

Hope everything goes well when you finally get them in.

Peace to you my brutha and goodnight!
